Joël Poher is a Partner and Head of the Energy & Circular Transition platform. He graduated from ENSAE (Aeronautic Engineering School) and from HEC (Paris Graduate Business School).

In his consulting career, Joël has led projects in France, Italy, Belgium, Germany, the UK and the USA, focusing on: Corporate strategy (Portfolio strategy, M&A, growth strategy, long term trends, emerging markets assessment, new business models development) and Customer and marketing innovation strategies (customer value understanding, offer design, marketing positioning, channel strategies, value pricing …) and competitiveness improvement topics (organization, transformation, performance …).

His experience ranges across Energy, Telecoms, Mining & Metals and Financial Services sectors.

Joel has accumulated more than 25 years of experience in the Energy & Utilities sector, mostly in Europe and North America. He has developed a specific expertise in the fields of nuclear, gas, hydro and renewable energies, water & waste, energy efficiency, storage, smart grid / smart meter, clean mobility, transmission and distribution grids, decentralized energy systems …, working with all kinds of clients: large integrated utilities, grid operators, oil & gas players, energy services companies, equipment manufacturers, government bodies.
