Robert joined CVA in 2023 and works with the global and New Zealand teams in agribusiness, food and consumer sectors. Robert also specialises in sustainability across all sectors as well as supply chain and manufacturing.

Robert has a unique background bringing together commercial experience and leadership with top tier consulting.

Robert and his family are farmers in sheep and dairy and he studied Agricultural Science at Melbourne University. He also has a Masters in Business Leadership from RMIT University.

Robert’s career was built on agri-business services in the banking and genetics industries before he moved into policy, leading the Australian dairy industry in key areas such as emissions, water and trade. He then forged a commercial career at Australia’s largest dairy company where he was a senior executive for nine years leading milk procurement, retail trading and corporate affairs. He was also President of the industry body representing dairy companies.

Most recently Robert was a Partner at KPMG Australia leading the Consumer and Food sector and consulting in strategy, operations and sustainability – he joined CVA in November 2023.
